About Us
My name is Victoria. I started out as a graphic designer in the garment industry and did that for way too long. When I was laid off from that job in late 2003, I started doing some freelance work. It was in 2005 that I went to a balloon workshop and decided that the balloon decorating business was for me. I loved the idea of being creative and seeing my ideas come to life. I knew then, that I wanted to start a business of my own.
In January of 2006, I created Marie's Balloon Boutique and devoted my time to learning the craft of balloon decor. After pouring my heart and soul into this business, I have regular customers, corporate and non-profit clients that call me to do their balloon decor on a regular basis. I still work out of my home, but have plans to expand.
Working out of my home allows me the opportunity to devote time to my family and my business. Creating balloon decor has become a passion and not just a business to make money. I enjoy surprising my clients with what I can do and the appreciation that my designs receive. I use only the best balloons available, so that my creations are the best they can be.
Creating quality balloon decor takes constant training in the field to keep up with the new designs and techniques of the time. However if you look at my prices and compare them to other local professional balloon decor businesses (not your everyday corner party shop) you will find that my prices are very competative for the quaity of work I do. I can accomplish this by keeping my overhead low. All the people that do business with me know how particular I am about each and every job I do. I am a hands on owner who enjoys being a perfectionist in my trade.
